学院不断加快对源头创新的推动，大力集聚“创新联运平台”创新建设，积极推进大学生创新体系建设，学院积极调动师生参与大学生创新创业训练计划、大学生课余研究计划(USRP活动)、科研训练、“挑战杯”系列赛事、国内外设计竞赛等项目的积极性，形成了较好的多层次、互动式、开放型创新实践平台。近年来，学院指导学生在国内外著名设计竞赛中年均获奖近200项。

2019年以来，学院获全国挑战杯大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛一等奖1项，银奖2项，铜奖2项；获挑战杯上海市特等奖3项，一等奖2项。2022年起，学院开始承办中国好创意暨全国数字艺术设计大赛上海赛区工作，2023年开始承办中国好创意暨全国数字艺术设计大赛国赛。

Since 2019, the college has won one first prize, two silver awards, and two bronze awards in the National Challenge Cup Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition for College Students; received 3 Shanghai Grand Prizes and 2 First Prizes in the Challenge Cup. From 2022, the college began to undertake the work of the Shanghai Division of the China Good Creativity and National digital art Design Competition, and from 2023, the college began to undertake the National Competition of China Good Creativity and National digital art Design Competition.
